Update Your Preferences

When was the last time you updated your preferences?

A month ago? Yesterday? Perhaps today? Maybe you cannot even remember the last time you considered you and your preferences.

I know the feeling very well. I have been there as well, stuck or paralyzed. Not even able to imagine what I wanted other than feeling myself again and being over with the Traumatic Brain Injury & associates.

Curiosity came from time to time. It slowly made space inside of me..

I eventually started to listen to my preferences, choosing between two of them.

Which one will make me feel better? What do I need now? What does my heart desire? I tested my inspiration. Trusting I will know, I will feel what is good for me..

How did it feel? It was a clue, a response to my preference.

What will bring me closer to peace? Listen.

Did Joy come along? Wonderful, you are on your way!

With time and many explorations I gave myself permission to update my preferences again and again…

You can do too. I know you may hesitate oscillating between fear and desire on the opposite sides.

I know you can do it. I am right there with you cheering you on as you try and edit your preferences..

Just give it a chance, There is no mistake, only experiences..

There is no limit, no shelf life expiration on our preferences...

We are constantly evolving, permuting, growing and taking new roads to explore so when time comes don’t be afraid to let go of your preferences if it doesn’t bring joy into your life..

Play, try new experiences, colour outside the line, do something that scares you a little, try something completely different and be ready to be happily surprised or not impressed by it... Discover new preferences..

Preference is only a greater liking for one alternative over another.. Update them as often as you desire dear ones.

This is your life, your preferences..
