BIAYR’s Education and Programming
-
EDUCATION
BIAYR hosts weekly Educational Talks intended to help survivors, caregivers, and community providers gain more insight into the changes they encounter after a brain injury and learn ways to maximize quality of life.
-
PROGRAMMING
BIAYR provides a mixture of virtual and in-person programming, which has shown the benefits of fostering a community, reducing feelings of isolation, and facilitating physical and cognitive exercise.
-
SUPPORT GROUPS
Support groups are available for both survivors and caregivers to provide an opportunity to connect with others in a safe, compassionate, non-judgemental and confidential environment. The groups provide a platform for individuals to share experiences, gain new insights, learn potential strategies (e.g., coping, joy-building), and feel understood and supported by others.
